i had the sport 500's --i wanted more power .. sold them .they were fine --but a stock motor cannot handle 22-24psi on these turbos because of the cast pistons will grenade .. just ask chris(nj) and read my history of posts and talked with wui(philly) ..the sport 500's will run all day at 19psi ... the sport 530bb turbos are good ..but the increase you get based on the xtra cost isnt worth it ..there are other power options for the same money ( speak to ranchz --he sold his 530bb turbos after two weeks for the jwt 700bb ) ..now we come to mysetup ..for little more than the cost of the 530bb turbo ( maybe $700 ) -- you cant go wrong with the dupree tubular inconel manifolds and sport 600's setup .. i have 1k miles now on my setup and can tell you that there IS NO SIGNIFICANT additional lag .. it seems to flow real nice and reaches my maximum peak boost of 20psi ( pump fuel ) real quick and the power level is ..well real nice ... i had sport 500's with stock ported manifolds and the difference is night and day .. the great thing about this turbo is that with tuning I should be able to get near the 26 to 28psi range .....of course the ultimate setup maybe hks2530bb with inconel manifolds or jwt700's ..have to wait i guess until more dynos after tuning come out before that decision can be made ... just my 2 cents !
